Warzone Season 3 - everything you need to know

The Warzone Season 3 release date is moving into view, much to the delight of fans waiting for a fresh drop of content.

The Season 2 Reloaded update for Warzone featured a small slice of content but many Call of Duty players are patiently waiting for the halfway point of the cycle to launch with all kinds of new additions to the battle royale.

Warzone Season 3 start date

Thanks to the battle pass countdown timer, we know Warzone Season 3 will begin on April 3, 2024. In addition to the timer, a recent Warzone Mobile blog post also confirmed the "next new season" will begin on this date.

There's always a chance of a delay to the start of a new Warzone season and if there are any signs of one, we'll be sure to update the guide with any information that surfaces.

Ahead of Season 3, Call of Duty has shared the first look at Rebirth Island returning. Alongside the ability to swim, the trailer also showcases a brand-new sniper rifle rumoured to be the MORS.

It appears the leaks were right all along. Call of Duty's social media channels have revealed Rebirth Island is returning as part of the Warzone Season 3 update.

The blue outline in the image reveals no changes to its size but there's every chance Raven Software has some new Easter Eggs and some new buildings dotted around the map.

Leakers have also uncovered information surrounding the weapons arriving in Warzone Season 3 and it's good news for fans of Advanced Warfare. The leaks claim the EM1, ASM1, BAL27, and MORS from Sledgehammer Games' futuristic release are on the way back.
