Gfinity announce broadcast deal with BT Sport

In addition to our ground-breaking partnership with the world-renowned broadcaster, BBC, we’re delighted to announce our broadcast deal with BT Sport, the home of world-class live sport.

The new deal will bring esports, already enjoyed by millions online, to a brand-new audience and allow them to enjoy the world class entertainment provided by Gfinity via traditional television sports broadcast.

The BT Sport partnership will see the Elite Series featured on BT Sport’s broadcast platforms   commencing on Tuesday 1st August at 9:30pm and marks another breakthrough for Gfinity’s Elite Series this summer. It is the first time British esports has enjoyed a dedicated esports arena, The Gfinity Esports Arena, and the first time an overall franchise champion will be hailed at the end of the tournament.

The Elite Series tournament showcases competitive gameplay from eight well-known franchises made up of today’s best professional players alongside newly drafted superstars of tomorrow, who successfully made their way through the Gfinity Challenger Series, a free online competition open to all gamers, regardless of location or skill level via These eight teams will battle it out weekly in head-to-head gameplay culminating in an exciting weekend of finals on September 1st-3rd 2017.
