  • How do I register?

    To register an account at Gfinity.net:

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of the home page

    2. Click the 'Not a member? Sign up' link located beneath the 'Login' button

    3. Complete the fields in the pop-up box and click 'Sign Up'

    4. Verify your email by clicking the link in the email that we send

    You're now signed up!

  • I've registered but haven't received a verification email, what do I do?

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Check your junkmail/spam folder to see whether the verification email has been moved here by your email client.

    2. If you still can not find your verification email, please send an email to 'support@gfinity.net' including your username and the email address with which you tried to register.

     

  • My email/password isn’t working, what can I do?

    Please complete the following steps:

    1. Ensure Caps Lock is not enabled. Passwords are case-sensitive and will not allow access if entered incorrectly when attempting to log on.

    2. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page and then click 'Forgot Password?' beneath 'Login'. Follow the instructions in the pop-up box.

    3. If you are still unable to access your account, please email 'support@gfinity.net' detailing the issue and including your username and email address that you used to register.

     

  • How do I edit my profile?

    Once you have registered an account at Gfinity.net and logged in, you are able to edit your profile.

    To access this feature of the website:

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page.

    2. Click the 'Edit Profile' link.

    3. Complete the fields on the page to edit your public profile.

    4. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.

  • How do I add my GamerTag/Steam ID/Battle.net ID to my account?

    To add your GamerTag/Steam ID/Battle.net ID to your profile:

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page.

    2. Click the 'Edit Profile' link.

    3. Complete the relevant fields listed under 'Social Profiles'

    4. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.

     

  • How do I raise a support ticket?

    To raise a support ticket to receive assistance or request help from a member of the Gfinity team:

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page.

    2. Click the 'Support' link located on the left-hand side of the menu.

    3. Click the 'Create Ticket' link.

    4. Complete the 'Subject' and 'Content' fields using as much information as possible to help us quickly provide assistance.

     

  • I would like to become an Admin, is this possible?

    We regularly add members of the Gfinity.net community to our Admin Team.

    When we are looking to recruit new Admins, we will post on the main page of the website and via our social media.

    Keep an eye out for these posts which contain details on how to apply!

     

  • How do I send a private message to another person on the site?

    It is possible to send a private message via the Gfinity.net website to all other registered users.

    To send a PM:

    1. Use the search function located at the top of every page (the magnifying glass symbol) and enter the username of the person you wish to PM.

    Click the 'Message' icon on the profile page to send a PM to the user.

    2. Click the 'Private Chat' menu located at the bottom right of every page.

    Use the search function to find the user that you wish to PM, a separate chat box will pop up and then allow you send the user a PM.

     

     

  • I need to speak to an Admin or Moderator quickly, help!

    If you are in immediate need of assistance from a member of the Gfinity Admin Team or a Moderator, please follow these steps:

    1. Click the 'Chatrooms' link located on the bottom left of every page.

    2. Click 'Support Chatroom' from the pop-up menu.

    3. Detail the issue that you need assistance with and await response.

    Other issues not requiring immediate attention can be submitted using the 'Create Ticket' functionality of the website.

  • How do I find my Battletag?

    To locate your Battletag, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you have a valid Battle.net login

    2. Logon to Battle.net

    3. Click the 'Account Summary' link at the bottom of the page

    4. Your Battletag will be displayed as illustrated in the below image

     

  • How do I find my Steam ID?

    To locate your Steam ID, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you have a Steam login

    2. Visit http://steamidfinder.com/old/

    3. Enter you Steam username ie. 'Gfinity'

    4. Your Steam ID will be displayed eg. STEAM_0:0:52932758

  • Can I create an account for free?

    Yes, it is completely free to create an account on Gfinity.net.

    To register an account at Gfinity.net:

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of the home page

    2. Click the 'Not a member? Sign up' link located beneath the 'Login' button

    3. Complete the fields in the pop-up box and click 'Sign Up'

    4. Verify your email by clicking the link in the email that we send

    You're now signed up!

     

  • How much does a subscription cost?

  • What do I get as a free member?

  • How do I buy a subscription?

    To upgrade your free account to a monthly/annual subscription, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure you logged in to your Gfinity.net account

    2. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page

    3. Click either the 'Monthly' or 'Yearly' upgrade option on the menu drop-down

    4. Follow the instructions in the 'Checkout' section and then click 'Place Order'

    5. Congratulations, you're now a subscriber!

     

  • Do I need to purchase credits to compete?

    No, Gfinity.net does not use a credit system for tournaments.

    As a free member, you can compete in ladders across the five eSports titles that we currently support.

    As a subscriber, you can compete in as many ladders, leagues and cups as you want - all included in the monthly/annual price.

     

3. Competitions

  • How do I sign up for a competition?

    To sign up for a league/ladder/cup/tournament follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you are the Team Captain of a team

    2. Navigate to the relevant league/ladder/cup/tournament page for the game you wish to play using the 'Menu' located at the top of every page

    3. Select the tournament you wish to enter and click 'Register Your Team'

    4. Click on the squad you wish to enter for the competition

    5. Click on the players you wish to compete from the squad

    6. Each competition will have a predetermined minimum & maximum number of players allowed. Ensure your selection meets these requirements

    7. Once you have made your selection and it meets the necessary requirements, click 'Save Squad'

    8, Your team and your respective squad choice have now been successfully entered into the competition!

     

  • How can I see what competitions I can compete in?

    To see what competitions are available to compete in, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the relevant league/ladder/cup/tournament page for the game you wish to play using the 'Menu' located at the top of every page

    2. Competitions that are unavailable to register your team for will display a padlock symbol and will state 'Registration locked'

    This may be due to:

    - Registration has yet to open/has already closed
    - Maximum number of participants has been reached

    Make sure to check whether registration will become available at a later date
    If so, return to the sign-up page at this time to successfully complete registration

     

     

  • How can I get more information about a competition?

    To access more information about a competition, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the relevant league/cup/ladder/tournament page for the game you wish to play using the 'Menu' located at the top of every page

    2. Select the competition you wish to access more information on

    3. Use the 'i' symbol to access an overview on the competition

    4. Select 'Rules' to read the comprehensive ruleset governing the competition

    5. Select 'Fixtures' to see the upcoming fixture for the competition

    6. Select 'Tables'/'Bracket' to see how the competition is progressing and the standings of the teams/players taking part

    7. Select 'Teams' to see which teams are taking part in the competition

    8. Other key details including the number of participants, registration open/close dates, prizepool and minimum/maximum roster sizes can be seen below the menu bar for each competition

     

  • How do I find the rules for a league, ladder, cup or tournament?

    To access the comprehensive ruleset for a leagues, cups, ladders and tournaments, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the relevant league/ladder/cup/tournament page for the game you wish to play using the 'Menu' located at the top of every page

    2. Select the competition you wish to see the ruleset for

    3. Select 'Rules' to read the comprehensive ruleset governing the competition

    4. Other key details including the number of participants, registration open/close dates, prizepool and minimum/maximum roster sizes can be seen below the menu bar for each tournament

     

  • Can I enter multiple leagues, ladders, cups and tournaments?

    As a Gfinity.net subscriber, you are able to compete in as many competitions as you desire.

    Free members of Gfinity.net are able to compete in multiple ladders without restriction.

    We do ask that you ensure that your participation in multiple competitions does not overlap and cause you to 'double-book' for competitions.

     

  • How do I check in for a league, ladder, cup or tournament?

    To check in for a competition:

    1. You will be sent a check-in reminder via the Gfinity.net PM system and by email
    2. You will be given two options: Check-In/Withdraw
    3. If you wish to still take part in the competition, click 'Check-In'
    4. If you no longer wish to take part in the competition, click 'Withdraw'
    5. Teams/players who check-in will be included within the bracket and fixtures for the respective tournament

     

  • How do I report scores?

    To report scores for a competition:

    1. Click 'Menu' located at the top of every page
    2. Click 'My Fixtures'
    3. Locate the fixture you wish to report a score for
    4. Enter result

    Please note:

    - Report score function will only display 15 minutes after the designated start time of the fixture
    - Both teams must enter the result
    - If two teams/players enter the result differently, a member of the Admin Team will be notified of the discrepancy and will intervene.
    - Teams/players found to be deliberately misentering results may face disciplinaty action from the Admin Team

     

  • How do I dispute a result?

    To dispute a result, raise a support ticket.

    To ensure we can quickly and accurately resolve your dispute, please include links to video/picture evidence to support your claim.

    1. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page.

    2. Click the 'Support' link located on the left-hand side of the menu.

  • How do I provide evidence in the case of a dispute?

    To provide evidence in the case of a dispute, please use either a video hosting/image hosting website and include the link(s) in the support ticket outlining your dispute.

     

  • What happens if I've signed up for a league, ladder, cup or tournament but can't play in it?

    Our check-in system is designed to prevent no-shows occurring during our competitions, however we are aware that they can still occur from time to time.

    If you have signed up to a league, ladder, cup or tournament but are unable to play but have already checked in, please follow these steps:

    1. Click the 'Chatrooms' link located on the bottom left of every page.
    2. Click 'Support Chatroom' from the pop-up menu.
    3. Explain what competition you are unable to play in and await response.

     

     

  • What happens if my opponent hasn't shown up?

    If your opponent hasn't shown up for your fixture and you have waited the maximum amount of time outlined in the ruleset, please follow these steps:

    1. Click the 'Chatrooms' link located on the bottom left of every page.
    2. Click 'Support Chatroom' from the pop-up menu.
    3. Explain which competition and opponent the no-show relates to and await response.

  • How many people in my team need a subscription to enter a tournament?

    For our subscriber-only tournaments, each member of your team must have either a monthly or annual subscription for the team to participate.

    You will not be able to register your team for a subscriber-only tournament if one or more members of your team have not upgraded their account.

4. Teams

  • How do I create a team?

    To create a team on Gfinity.net, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you are a registered Gfinity.net member and logged in to your account

    2. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page

    3. Click the 'Create a team' link

    4. Complete the information in the fields, including setting your team logo and team background image

    5. Invite other Gfinity.net users to your team

    6. Assign sponsors (if applicable)

    7. Click 'Save' at bottom of page

     

  • How do I add people to my team?

    To invite other Gfinity.net users to join your team, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you are a registered Gfinity.net member and logged in to your account

    2. Ensure you have already created a team

    3. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page

    4. Click the 'My teams' link

    5. Click 'Manage Team' on the team you wish to invite users to

    6. Scroll down to 'Team Members'

    7. Use search box to find users to add (you can search using email address/username/GamerTag etc)

    8. Once you have located the user, click the 'Invite' button beneath their image

    9. User will have been notified of your request. Upon accepting the invitation, your team page will be updated to reflect roster change.

     

  • How do I setup a multiple teams?

    To setup a multiple teams, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you are a registered Gfinity.net member and logged in to your account

    2. Ensure you have already created a team

    3. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top right hand side of every page

    4. Click the 'Teams' link

    5. Click 'Manage Team' on the team you wish to add players to.

    6. Scroll down to 'Team Members'

    7. Type the Username of the person you wish to add and click on Invite under the user's name

    8. Repeat as needed to create individual Teams for each title or individual players

    9. Once the players have accepted the invite they will be added to the team.

  • How do I delete my team?

    To delete a team on Gfinity.net, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you are a registered Gfinity.net member and logged in to your account

    2. Click the 'Menu' button located at the top of every page

    3. Click the 'My teams' link

    4. Click the 'Manage team' link for the relevant team

    5. Click 'Delete Team'

     

5. Prizes

  • How long does it take to receive prize money?

    We aim to credit prize money to your wallet within 7 days of the completion of the respective competition. 

    However, this may take up to one week to process during times of heightened activity on the website.

    This prize money will then immediately be available for account members to withdraw via PayPal. 

    PayPal payments may take up to 7 working days to clear in your account.

     

  • I'm part of a team, will we receive our prize money individually?

    In the case of prize payments for team-based competitions, the prize money will be credited individually to each squad member listed in the tournament.

     

  • What do I do if I haven't received my prize money?

    If you haven't received credit to your account more than 7 days after the completion of the respective competition, we advise raising a ticket to escalate your claim.

    To raise a support ticket to receive assistance or request help from a member of the Gfinity team:
