PS5’s Second-Biggest Exclusive is Jumping to PC

A major PS5 exclusive is coming out on PC soon, as God of War Ragnarok is set to join Sony’s current library of computer games. This means that players will be able to enjoy the current God of War duology on PC, complete with some free roguelite DLC.

Dealabs Magazine reports that Ragnarok is the next PlayStation exclusive coming to PC, claiming that the sequel will be announced this May. It’s not yet known when we will get the announcement this month, but fans are hoping it will be through the Summer Game Fest.

Sony has yet to confirm if God of War Ragnarok is coming to PS5, though one would assume that enough time has passed to make it a reality. With Horizon Forbidden West already on PC and Ghost of Tsushima coming out next week, Ragnarok coming in a few months makes a ton of sense.

Ragnarok was released at the tail end of 2022 and received plenty of positive scores, with critics praising everything about this title. The gameplay isn’t a huge improvement over the 2018 original, but many did enjoy its story.

While God of War Ragnarok was a pretty conclusive story, the game’s DLC gave players plenty to do. Giving fans some roguelite-like goals and plenty of callbacks to the original PS2 games, it was a fairly eventful expansion to play through. The fact that this DLC was free for all to play with was impressive and we’re sure this mode will return on PC.

Sony has been doing a better job at bringing their games to PC, though they still make some pretty major mistakes. They recently tried to force PSN integration for Helldivers 2, which then resulted in numerous countries losing access to the game. Sony has since canceled the move and they are working on bringing it back to other countries.

God of War Ragnarok is readily available on PS4 and PS5, with the PC version hopefully coming soon. In the meantime, players can enjoy God of War (2018) on PS4, PS5, and PC.
