Palworld might not be dominating sales charts as it did during the first few weeks of its release, but the survival sim is still going strong. It looks like fans are about to be rewarded for their support, as the game’s devs have promised some very cool things coming soon.

On Twitter (via GamesRadar), Pocketpair Community Manager Bucky thanked fans for giving the game over 250,000 glowing reviews on Steam. This goes to show that the game isn’t all hype, as fans are genuinely enjoying how this game differentiates itself from the other Pokémon imitators.

“6 weeks since release and Palworld has over 250,000 reviews on Steam! Over a quarter of a million reviews! Insane!” Bucky tweeted. “Still feeling very grateful to all the fans, and to those who continue to make such great content and fan art! Some very cool things coming very soon!”

After selling millions of copies, Pocketpair did reveal a roadmap for Palworld, showing what would be coming to the survival sim. While we haven’t seen all of this new content yet, we can only assume that these new features are only some of the “cool things” coming soon.

To the devs’ credit, we have seen various updates come out, though not all of them have been received positively. Fans were quite angry when a recent update removed a bug that let players catch Tower Bosses since that still isn’t possible in the game. Interestingly enough, the devs did acknowledge this, with many seeing that as a hint that the feature could be coming back in a more official capacity.

Considering how well this game is doing, we wouldn’t be surprised if Palworld gets updated for years to come. Pocketpair should do what Game Freak won’t, since this is the closest thing players will get to an infinite Pokémon game. An infinite Pokémon game where you make them mine and farm for you, but an infinite one nonetheless.
