Warzone hackers are summoning helicopters and teleporting themselves out of the match much to the annoyance of players.

Despite regular improvements to Ricochet, Call of Duty's dedicated anti-cheat, hackers continue to disrupt the action in the battle royale. With Season 2 well underway, legitimate players loading into matches are still running into opponents using all kinds of techniques to gain an unfair advantage.

The latest exploit used by cheaters involves attack helicopters appearing out of thin air to give them a quick getaway into the skies. Instead of being visible to those on the ground, the chopper disappears guaranteeing the cheaters the victory.

Uncovered by Reddit user WilsonatorYT, the player spots the hackers next to a building before a helicopter appears in thin air and whisks them away.

To nobody's surprise, other Warzone players were quick to share their frustrations with the lack of action taken by Ricochet anti-cheat. One player thinks: "I believe Ricochet isn't real. I don't think there's an actual software called Ricochet. I think it's just a branding gimmick meant to convince us they're doing something when they're not."

Another adds: "Ricochet is a band-aid for a gaping wound. Activision doesn't and never has taken anti-cheat seriously." With another way for cheaters to secure victory, it's understandable to see why many are frustrated.

The ongoing battle between Activision and Warzone hackers shows no signs of slowing down. Although the team behind Ricochet continues to apply various features to crack down on the cheaters, they still manage to find ways to beat the system.

It's unclear if Activision has anything up its sleeves to prevent teleporting helicopters from impacting matches in Season 2 but there's always a chance of Season 2 Reloaded bringing in further measures to create a level playing field for everyone dropping into Urzikstan.

For now, be aware of the sudden appearance of helicopters that disappear into the atmosphere.
