Predator: Hunting Grounds Arrives On Steam Today

Critics had mixed opinions on Predator: Hunting Grounds when it launched last April. Reminiscent of 2K Games' Evolve, Sony's multiplayer experience brought in a five-player format, letting one player become the Predator, whilst the other four would hunt them down, tasked with completing paramilitary operations.

Despite the shaky response, Sony and developers IllFonic have kept it regularly updated with frequent DLC updates. Now, they've just confirmed via a PlayStation Blog post that for the one year anniversary, Predator: Hunting Grounds is also coming to Steam.

Sony's Predator: Hunting Grounds Arrives On Steam Today

Previously released on PS4 and PC via the Epic Games Store, fans can jump into the Steam edition today. Though Predator wasn't specifically noted being an exclusive at the time, given the timing, it seems likely Epic paid Sony for that year. Steam players can also get a "DLC Predator Package" to get players up to speed, and they've confirmed this edition has cross-play multiplayer.

It times up with a wider anniversary update, one which includes a new Airstrip Map, new Predator specialisations, and further updates are promised for June, August and October. We'll keep you updated as they arrive.
